Great game with goalkeeper mistakes

Last year I have gained with years again a match of the FIFA series (FIFA 2006) and was a bit disappointed and am then went back to PES 4 (the 5er version I also did not like). This year I then looked at the demo of FIFA in 2007 and then bought on the basis of first impressions very good part.

I must confess, as an old FIFA series critics, I am surprised quite positive:

Control (Logitech Rumblepad II):

That was in 2006 something of spongy that now wanted to pay absolutely no decent feel. This became clear reworked - possibly because of the new, revised "ball physics" - however: in any case, a new feel. Okay, there are compared to PES not even begin to many controls and Player Actions - but honestly, I have not used in the PES still dominates. But that's a question of entitlement.

Gameplay:
=========

Very nice: the players think finally with more. Laufen free to raise your hand if you want to be played. The defenses are not as easy to overcome, but now do not unrealistically tight. Shots can now vary (thickness, cut, height ...). Rather, it need not, in my opinion.

Goalkeeper:
========

In my view, real gripe: totally incompetent. Free kicks in the penalty area, reasonably central, fidgeting actually basically the net. Hair-raising Torwartpatzer are commonplace. Charges a Genger alone at the goalkeeper, one can ever prepare mentally for the offense. One should try to patch ... In this point PES is superior in all cases. Already alone that you can leave it there rauslaufen the goalkeeper.

Graphics:
=======

Perhaps not quite as nice as PES, but most of all you have the original players - also from the 2.Bundesliga. And since "my" club (still) plays in the second division, which is for me a great argument nunmal. That makes something of fun - especially if it is the commentators even mention the player's name. The usual problem is that the viewers are only panel 2D silhouette target. But I can live with, because everything else would probably eat too much computer power. What utter nonsense: The cutscenes and Weiederholungen we as a strange "Bloom" effect used - looks a bit limited and the way the whole violently brings into bucking (at Höchter resolution). If, at detail level "means" one, so the verschwinet and has really nice and smooth between scenes. Everything else is the same ;-)

Commentators:
==============

Hansi Küpper and some guy I do not know. Again, pleasantly surprised: Less Witzfigur comments as one that is otherwise so accustomed. Sometimes quite appropriately and smoothly. As I said: It's cool when the player names are mentioned of his favorite second-division club. Clear: This for gameplay inappropriate comments, there is also ... Goalkeeper takes a scooter on leisurely - comment: "! What a parade as he had already put his skills to the test"

Conclusion:
======

In Momenz FIFA 2007 is currently my favorite in the PC matches. You have to consider what you want to stop: The Akkzent here is rather on action and Originalliszensen. PES is almost a simulation with sophisticated control and great gimmicks. I for one think FIFA intuitive and simply easier to play. But everyone has to decide himself up.

Bottom line: A great football game - with Trowrtfehlern ;-)

Update: Star weggenenommen as compared to the 2011 version otherwise pretty lame ...
