Great TV with unfortunately fixed pedestal

The integrated WLAN device can not only reliably quickly surf the Internet, but also streaming video, even HD, worked sensationally well in my functional test. Even Full HD material, present as mkv are reproduced almost smooth. It is important, of course, a router of the N-standard controls.

The sound quality of the integrated speakers is OK, but not great. On connecting external speakers or a soundbar via jack I will because its not renounce.

In addition to the DVB-T tuner the 42-inch Philips has also integrated the integrated DVB-C and DVB-S2 tuners, which can be retrofitted by CI + with pay or HD + course. I especially like the simple and above all fast menu navigation. I know for example from mittelpreisklassigen LG & Co. televisions differently.

As for the stand I am my own opinion uncertain. Pleasantly surprised I am by the glass, so no awful scratch prone glossy piano lacquer. Looks very high. Unfortunately, it can not turn the TV because the pedestal is rigidly bolted to the TV. I'm going to now superior to hang the TV on the wall, equipped with rotating arm stretchers. The way through the VESA standard 400 x 400 is available.

In total the television for this price range is very high and I'm positively impressed with function and image. Who does not require 3D can be happy with this TV unit perfectly.
