Handling error-prone

We have the thermometer Braun IRT 3020 bought about 1 1/2 years ago and sporadically in use.
We had planned it for stress-free measuring our daughter - now 2 years - use. For this purpose, it is totally inappropriate. It is not possible for us to obtain a repeatable and therefore reliable measurement result, although our daughter keeps silent. Much worse than the differences but weighs the tendency to show low values. Up to 2 degrees too little compared to rectal measurement even with repeated measurements and often decreasing tendency. As an indicator for (children) illnesses so completely useless.

Of course it is possible that incorrect operation unsererseit, but we had now long enough time to practice and should it but at least halfway manage. And yes, we have the instructions read several times - and understood.

So good for the IRT 3020 mainly for fast pre-measurement - in adults. Since the measurement error is less and the result is less critical. But for tuts a wrist test.

With an IRT 4520 the measurement functions by the way very well. Dependable constant deviation of max. -0.5 Degrees. Brown can thus build operated ear thermometer why small is so much more difficult to handle, therefore, incomprehensible.
