The quality of the images is very good, however, the scanning software is not their ergonomically and Not well thought out. I use IrfanView for years to scan. With this scanner, the window opens to scan and immediately begins to scan to, without giving me the opportunity to trick the documents. After a document is scanned, you click Finish and the image is imported into the Irfanview. What I find very bad, is that while the scan window of HP closes. That means it must be opened again fo the second scan. Völling unintuitive, it lost a lot of time. Had I known that, I would not buy the Scnanner.
