Hart, melancholy, enigmatic

With their new album "Deadwing" Porcupine Tree met with me again the bull's eye. Was me their music sooner something electronically, as they have done in my opinion, with its step towards more progressive rock sounds the right step.
Deadwing is certainly not an album for a nice summer day, because its quite melancholy and lethargic mood, to the ambiguous, poetic lyrics, fits rather a gloomy, rainy day. Someone who can be carried away by bad music, a sunny day is not to be distorted by Deadwing.

Who among "In Absentia" was thrilled to Deadwing not to be missed.
It is a pity that the texts this time not really (but only in excerpts) in the booklet are available. Nevertheless receives "Deadwing" from me five stars.
