I own the HTC One 32GB in silver now for 3 weeks. Bought it was in an O2 Shop and not here at Amazon. Now I think you do not need go further into the hardware, since it was to this already said enough. After dilemma with the HTC One X last year I wanted to buy myself no more HTC device. These should be said that I got delivered from Amazon 6 HTC One X have all been made before week 26 and thus had the WiFi problem. Certainly the blame of HTC but when you look at it closely, this was Amazon's fault. Because HTC had after the production change, the dealer asked to send this probably faulty device back that were manufactured prior to 26 KW. What Amazon has not done, so it was half a year later still be that you got a SH24. Well, now I have but the HTC One and I am absolutely thrilled. For me it's quite clear the smartphone-2013. The optics in aluminum look is just very high quality and provides a well to have got quality for paid 600 Euro feel. The stereo speakers in the front make for a smart phone a huge sound, no comparison to the Xperia Z that I had previously. Here the slogan Loudly Brilliant would be better placed than Quietly Brilliant. At last you can sometimes enjoy music without headphones. In games especially makes itself the sound impact, such Real Racing 3 the sound of the engines come with strong hand across well. The most important thing as a smart phone is for me, however, the display and here HTC has done a great job. The SLCD 3 of One is outstanding. I had the last year SGS 3, Lumia 920 and the Xperia Z and none of them can also keep up with anywhere near the display of the One. It is very perspective Stable for an LCD, has a very high luminosity (depending verbautem display and black also shown 485-650 cd / m2 very good. Of course it depends on the black one AMLOED Display's not ran but as a whole it is nevertheless far better, at least for my taste. When I had S3 outdoors in sunshine no chance yet to read something from you while 75% can read everything perfect at the One itself already, in direct sunlight on the display. The battery is also very pleasantly surprised. I am someone of his smartphone really used a lot but this is the first smartphone where I can leave my external battery pack at home because I the battery only with might get empty during the day. Of course it would also come over 2-3 days in beautiful themselves use but one must not forget here that technology is so in a smartphone. Since the devices should also be getting thinner no longer remains as much space for the battery here. Gratifying that HTC has yet built a 2300mAh battery. Something disturb me doing the missing function twice to prove the menu to call the arrow key on. At the moment you so stupid a bar with 3 points has unfortunately not adapted to JB apps unfortunately "taking something at the bottom edge of the display of the 4.7 way. However strongly I hope that the HTC Twin reintroduces with an update, the in preproduction and even with exhibition equipment of O2 this feature is not yet available. However, is there partly an update of more than 200 MB on what this feature kills well. Why setting only HTC but probably this is due to Google because they do not like to see. But it still remains the possibility of Custom Roms. But even without it is only a small nuisance because I would not give the phone away again. Because the whole is attractive in every respect. + Top Hardware, S600 + SLCD 3 + 2300mAh Battery + First class build quality + Sense 5 (I mags, many do not) + Design, and finally aluminum no cheap plastic (also a matter of taste) + Stereo speakers bring the really good sound - Missing double occupancy arrow
Much is a matter of taste, Technically the One is at the moment at the top as well as the S4 will not change anything because both are absolutely down to minor differences in the hardware at the same. Here it is simply a matter of faith that is for a person the better smartphone. Sense or Touchwiz. Aluminum or polycarbonate. AMOLED or SLCD 3. Do I need ne memory card or not. But in the end both take nothing. Me personally HTC has this year pleasantly surprised and I can put the One each warmly. I hope the review was a bit helpful for those who are considering to buy it or not. LG, Christian
