Hybrid Theory - A masterpiece

Hybrid Theory (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I own this album since the release and have to say: this panel can not be "tothören". Everything fits: powerful music, a strong and Mike Shinoda singing and the shouting of Chester Bennington

In "Hybrid Theory" there is not a single bad track. For example, someone who is not a friend of DJ art, will likely be able to make friends but with Mr.Hahn's "Cure For The Itch".

The individual tracks in the overview:

1. Papercut: A solid performance by Shinoda, fairly good verses, a rather nice chorus. A notable example is the end

2. One Step Closer: Very good rock / metal sound with plenty of bass (who has a good hi-fi analgesia, will benefit). The "Shut Up" Chester is not for everyone, but that gives the track still a certain tick. Is also present in "Live In Texas" very successful

3. With You: In this track I first had to "listen". In the beginning you will find all the sound and especially the effects quite strange, but the more you listen, the better you can find the song. Schön is the constant transition from relative quiet verses about the loud Bridge to no less loud Hook

4. Points Of Authority: One of the highlights of the album. Again Linkin Park - typical relatively quiet sung verses and a hook with a lot of bass and nice effects

5. Crawling: Beautiful melody, Chester believes in the song at full line. Good slightly melancholic verses and a rocking chorus

6. Runaway: One of my favorite songs on the album. Audible are again sung verses and a hook that sounds easy to Metal

7. By Myself: The song rocks! Apart With You one of the most oriented to NewMetal songs on Hybrid Theory. Strong Parts of Mike Shinoda

8. In The End: My absolute favorite track (not only of LP, but total) - ingenious melody, beautiful vocals and solid parts of Shinoda. Of all the tracks on the album most taught in The End of this typical Linkin Park - Feeling. For me the highlight of Hybrid Theory

9. Place For My Head: The song was already present on the "Hybrid Theory EP" as "Esaul" with a slightly modified text. Compared to the old version of the sound was slightly improved and the parts are also a bit better than at the beginning

10. Forgotten: The chorus rocks extreme - the verses are against somewhat weaker. Because of this rock song a hip-hop track is set to "Reanimation" from hip-hop producer Alchemist made

11. Cure For The Itch: This track Mr.Hahn shows his skill in dealing with effects and mixing - Although the song does not seem quite to fit into the overall concept of the album, it's interesting but all

12. Pushing Me Away: In addition to In The End my favorite on the album. Recalls the sound a little like In The End and also has a similar structure

Conclusion: A very good album that can satisfy even verschiedeneste tastes - Play worthwhile in any case,
