Where Is Linkin Park?

... I wonder. Only "Given Up", "What I've Done" and parts of "Bleed It Out" and "No More Sorrow" let me close to the old Linkin Park. Coincidentally these are in my opinion the best songs on the album (besides "Leave Out All The Rest"). The powerful elements of Hybrid Theory and Meteora fail me.
Six or seven ballads at eleven songs ("Wake" excluded), I think that's a lot of.

Wake (2/10) is relatively boring and unnecessary,
Given Up (10/10) is a great song that I like very much and always like to listen to, Leave Out All The Rest (9.5 / 10) is one of the best LP ballads,
Bleed It Out (8/10) would also fit well on Meteora and HT,
Shadow of the Day (6/10) is not my case, most common being what I like about the song of the transition to
What I've Done (10/10) - Given Up with the best song of the album, good text, better video,
Hands Held High (3/10) I do not particularly like, with In Between the ill treatment variety Song of Minutes to Midnight
No More Sorrow (8.5 / 10) is energetic and powerful, but you can not always hear - still a very good song
Valentine's Day (6/10) I find quite boring and has no high recognition value
In Between (3/10) - see Hands Held High
In Pieces (7/10) - would be a horny song if Chester would depart at the end again, so I find rather mediocre In Pieces
The Little Things Give You Away (7/10) - a beautiful ballad

Nevertheless, I would put all this plate to the heart, because there are a few plates, which are so difficult to assess objectively how Minutes to Midnight. I like all the previous panels and dear'm not a fan of change, but (as you can read already in the other reviews), there are also very many people who MtM like better than Meteora and HT
