The Mike Shinoda has felt somehow disadvantaged by Linkin Park a little, since "Resuscitation" living proof. :-) Now he starts another attempt ... but this time with a "small living legend" in the Hip Hop Shop -> namely Jay-Z himself !!! The result can be quite impressive and is not too daunting for Linkin Park fans. Continuously was actually trying to mix the sounds in the background and the song by Jay-Z and Linkin Park so that the result is a small rock / rap album that it has not yet been available before in this form. I must say that the songs suit me tremendously, although I "is not just a hip-hop'm a fan" to put it mildly. So swim very first song "Dirt Off Your Shoulder / Lying From You" the rape and Sounds of Linkin Park and Jay-Z on the same wavelength. Starting with Jay-Z's rap song explodes at the end with the sound of Linkin Park, becoming the successful finals. "Big Pimpin '/ Papercut" has become more lyrically seen really great, but the background melody does not really 100 percent to the remix song. The same applies, incidentally, to the "Izzo / In The End"! In "Jigga What / Faint" is for example not the case here ... once is rapped by Jay-Z and even Mike so that bend the bars. Fits to the background beat, which is a mixture of Jigga What Faint ... and clean converted gentlemen !!! "Numb / Encore" is for me a bit cultish. The reason is simple -> it does not sound remixed on, but as the song had never been sung or composed differently (but this again does not mean that the original is worse than this song ... I can only " not comparing apples to oranges "!!!)" Points Of Authority / 99 Problems / One Step Closer "is a more than worthy final for the album ... for me personally the best song on this record! Everything fits here: text, beat, speed, time of vocal and song changes ... just great! Conclusion: Even with their second Rock / Rap Album Linkin Park once again prove its versatility, she has always proved. In my opinion, not too far hung out the window, but implemented clean!
