What I have never quite understood the fuss was about TITANIC (perhaps I should even watch the movie), because still Horner wrote in my eyes and ears his best stuff in the 80s. After THE DEVIL'S OWN AND RANSOM I had had enough. I just brought my A Beautiful Mind, and also just because James Horner personally to see the CD-ROM portion. The music, however, has really surprised me. It is the best proof that Horner is a master of his craft, and you do not have to have seen the film, to find pleasure in the music. In fact, the first piece is just great, and all the music on the CD is very good. I have a feeling that James Horner has taken this film really to heart. I can not be transferred to other my feelings, so I can only recommend those interested to the CD in a "shop" time to listen or to check corresponding samples on the net. I can only emphasize that Horner has awakened with this music sensations that I know otherwise only of his works from the 80s, and this is why I like him again. And I never would have thought possible !!!
