Paradise Lost have virtually routine, the Englishman bring constant albums out and of course, were in the eyes of many old fans earlier getting better. Every few years the musicians succeed in the hat-trick to make a surprising wheel which really partially reminiscent of old times or just kicks ass more than previous works. 13 albums since 1989 are also lots of wood! "Tragic Idol" combined cult early works of the variety "Gothic" and "icon" when it comes to guitar melodies, atmosphere with incredibly long spilled Doom influences. These frontman Nick Holmes sings rougher than I've dreamed of and yet so sensitive and varied! With the production of Jens Bogren together the British have delivered here one of the best albums of their career. To clarify and tired sometimes live seemed so young, furious and rough they now sound on CD. This passion of the 10 pieces grabs the listener from the first second and I do not think fans of the band no matter whether old or young can resist here. Paradise Lost were never bad, but as fantastic as this was a long time. I can hardly believe it, but be regarded in terms of gothic metal has "Tragic Idol" as a great moment. Failures I can not find here!
