The processing has once again very good job Canon - more you can for the price currently wait (my opinion). The service I found to be very intuitive, particularly through the adjustment ring on the lens can be proven, the semi-manual and manual modes to learn within minutes. The touch display of the S120 I wished rarely for selecting the AF area back - but thanks to the AF point selection button on the back one has also here quickly accustomed (to).
The screen on the back is, even quite apart from the non-existent touch functionality, one of the most annoying for me incisions: The good halved resolution is already visible and the pictures look just a little pixelated. But somewhere the savings have also come from yes.
The picture quality is, for the compactness of the camera, really first class. In good lighting conditions and correspondingly low light sensitivities up the image on the pixels is sharp. The "only" (and perfectly adequate) 10 megapixels pay off here. Even in low light, the relatively large pixels can also score. Only criticism: to integrate a RAW mode now would certainly cost no money.
Conclusion: The Canon PowerShot S200 with a RAW mode, and I had the (almost) perfect camera found on the way - and I think it will go to many other (Canon) DSLR users. The savings on the display can handle it, just like the HD video mode instead of Full HD. In particular, thanks to the very attractive price. And I think the latter will also fall slightly in the coming month.
