Back to basics for Jean-Michel Jarre: obvious melodies (Appointments IV) and ambitious compositions, such as II, sellotape on to your seat from the first listen. In fact, there is a composition to John Williams, which is reminiscent of "Star Wars" by its sound effects Homeric. Its digital choirs can hate, but this album is a concept, remember. The rest lacks a little depth. In my humble opinion, the sound will not age as well as the rest of the J.-MJ albums However, Appointment VI is one of my favorite tracks tout court: Generous layers of synths highlighted by a saxophone beautifully. A superb alchemy. Not the best album then, but great ideas to serve a "visual" music.
