The songs should be known. About putting together a "Best Of" one can always argue. Otherwise it would be too boring.
I find that the compilation is well done, although I would have liked to have seen or heard, for example, like a song like "Hey Johnny ...".
But you can make right there yes no.
Is likely to be important for fans anyway this Special Edition. Or just collectors who want to have anything / need.
The two new songs are not necessarily a reason to buy. Eben good FFs food. Solid I want say. Being just "Wheels" will certainly be well integrated in a live set.
Certainly for the fans, the DVD the reason to buy.
The FFs have always delivered great videos. Funny, entertaining (Learn To Fly, Low) ... the "brute force" and mood of the songs Catching (All My Life, The Pretender) or the "fit for driving feeling" as in Best of You ...
The videos are a class of its own and a real reason to buy.
For people who do not know this is the Foos plate ideal. You really get a good overview of the work of the band, which makes certainly fancy the albums ...
PS: Gladly we must begin with "The Colour and The Shape" ;-)
5 stars that this edition is worth both for fans as well as newcomers !!! So should other bands publish "their" Best Ofs. What is missing is an additional "B-Sides, Rarities ..." CD fortunately. But so were the Foos always have been somewhat sparingly ;-)
Edit: Of course there are B-sides and so (Most Covers) ... only were unfortunately only in some rausgegeben which countries or special Voes ... which was never known.
