Today, after many recordings and tests, I can say that Fuji is a truly unique and excellent camera succeeded. The autofocus is very fast, the camera will look as good as silent, the images are extremely sharp, high-contrast and almost no distortion, etc. I have a Nikon D4 and D800E, which I no longer use with fixed focal length 35mm. If I want to take pictures with the D4 people, this professional machine scared many. Nothing like that, if I take people with little nostalgic looking little X100S. When people often Scan a series with 5 fps, it shows hardly and the "yield" of good pictures is phenomenal. The operation has become much easier by the Q key, the Auto ISO works very well and is easy to reach. In terms of image quality, the Fuji comes to ISO 6400/12800 even at Nikon D4 zoom (measured with the 35mm, 2.0). Even compared to the D800E made the recordings of Fuji, only when you zoom further into the picture, the Nikon is sometime in the advantage; clear, it does have more than twice the resolution.
With the central locking system, there is no flash sync, you can flash up to 1/4000. The adjustment possibilities are gigantic, the Hybrid Viewfinder a pure joy. If there was 6 stars, I would do it.
My camera forgets no settings and is processed without errors. You have to search until you find something that would be capable of improvement, such as the films remain the sharpness setting and tone, are unfortunately so do not automatically adjusted. But what the X100S is, namely making good images, which makes them quite fantastic. And it is small and handy.
And one last comment. I process my images usually with DXO. This is already in the X100S, although this was still not at all presumptuous. I call in the Exif "X100S" in "FinePix X100" to. Since the objective has remained the same, does it excellent.
