Under Kubuntu 14:10 Stick the Plug and Play runs.
The chip will be recognized as "Realtek RTL2832 SDR", the associated kernel module "rtl2832_sdr" is automatically loaded.
The USB device is recognized as "Dexatek Technology Ltd. DK DVB-T dongle".
For the remote control the kernel module is "dvb_usb_rtl28xxu" loaded. Unfortunately, they seem to be operating under Kaffeine readily. Otherwise, top equipment, I can only recommend.
