Make only 16 titles from 28 years recording career as a cross-section makes little sense. It would already have to be a box with 3 or 4 CDs. The only reason to buy this compilation is the vastly improved sound. As explained on Neil Young's website, all the tracks are optimally transferred while in contrast to many other "Best of" CDs not jazzed and verschlimmbessert. The sound is better than ever, in fact. On the additional DVD of the limited edition CD is the same music in high-resolution 24-bit / 96kHz stereo sound (not a "Remix" as stated in the Amazon description), which is particularly worthwhile for owners of high-quality DVD player. There are on it as a bonus 2 video clips. This "Greatest Hits" album is thus directed alongside Neil Young newcomers especially to fans with audiophile and this is also justified.
