Once again in his career, when he rocked with Crazy Horse, Neil Young calm acoustic music used to. This year, under the title "Prairie Wind". The opener "The Painter" is a typical Neil composition with very successful Lyrics and strongly reminiscent of the songs from his last folk album "Silver & Gold". But in "No Wonder", a realization a electric guitar listen and lyrically it's more politically failed (that song from Nine Eleven keeps ringin 'in my head- I always remember something Chris Rock Said). "Falling off the Face of the World", "Far from Home" & "It's a Dream" are back down to earth and very nice songs about topics like love, childhood memories and longing. The rest of the songs are really well especially especially "This Old Guitar" (for me the best song on the album). In part can be heard on the record many instruments, it is much wider than the last albums arranged. On the whole, is "Prairie Wind" became very well and surprises as in "Are you Passionate?" and "Greendale" there is no time.
