But the most important thing for an electric slicer's the chips or rasps and chopping vegetables, fruit and possibly nuts. And here, unfortunately, was a problem. I tested the machine with potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, apple slices and nuts. The rasps or shredding potatoes became a fiasco. Again and again came potato pieces between drum and device wall. I had the drum then removed only with difficulty. The drum was sitting at attention with the clamped potato pieces and I had to do well to get rubbed only four rather small potatoes for potato pancakes. Slightly better managed the rasping of cucumbers and carrots. But with apple slices the machine failed again and nuts tended perk to fly through the kitchen. An onion I have tested, it came out as onion puree juice. Somehow I had thought of pretty onion rings, but I did not manage, though I have tested all the drum inserts.
From the noise, I can say that the machine is not overly loud. So practically a small shredding machine is that takes up little space, so but would like to put greater bowls to collect the shavings good under the outlet of the machine.
