What !! for a combination Catching up some time with James Brown's music, but oddly had never experienced before from this class disc. Even my buddy does not have this available in the discography ...!? James Brown with the Louie Bellson Orchestra - and that's a jazz big band! Recorded in 1969 in Hollywood !! And what goes for the time since the post from! James Brown, I have never heard singing so jazzy. And so a '69 Jazz Bigband never been so funky rock! Of course there are also the typical swing parts of the time, but what will this great musical ideas and song structures built, which then again can be especially these Swing! Ever since are fantastic musicians at work! Pure Power !!
