Jay-Z's soulful masterpiece

The Blueprint (Audio CD)

Customer Review

In his career, Jay-Z, despite the bad Lifetime series (except for a few songs from this period of his career) a good ("Blueprint 2"), a very good, of which we can say in 1, 2 years if it Classic -potential has brought out ("The Black Album") and two classics ("Reasonable Doubt" and even "The Blueprint"). Where the debut first-class hip-hop, as it was the mid-90s on the East Coast in, shines, convinced this CD here, of course, in addition to Jay-Z's Skillz clearly with the Soul samples and vocal pitches in the beats. The Producer (including the then relatively unknown Kanye West) have done a great job and the tracks are polished by Jigga again considerably, so that there were 5 crowns by the US hip hop bible "The Source" and even Jay -Z-haters will love this album. All tracks are very good, but there are some that you should single out, namely the cool opener "The Ruler's Back", the NAS Diss "Takeover", which was only to be really big to beef between the two, the soulful singles "Izzo (HOVA)" with the Jackson 5 sample and "Girls, Girls, Girls", the top-Banger "U Do not Know" and the two rather sad over coming of the mood "Song Cry" and "Blueprint ( Momma Loves Me) ". Actually, I could but highlight each song and each would be on albums by other renowned colleagues probably one if not the highlight, but these are staggering to me. The CD is a must for any Jay-Z and hip-hop fan without missing just under an hour excellent music! If you are not yet lucky to have "The Blueprint", order it immediately (along with "Reasonable Doubt" and "The Black Album")! You will regret it at any time, the CD is definitely the best album 2001!
