Kylie's best album - by a wide margin

There was a time when wearing glasses Kylie (for photo's, clear). 8 years ago, and was also successful "Kylie Minogue", their first real liberation from the image of peep-hare. Mid-twenties she was there for over a decade in showbiz, and willing to take risks. No, the indie stage was to come, Miss Minogue wanted to still offer dance music. And what for what.
Producers elite of the early 90's here a rendezvous. And even if it then but not enough to drive huge hits, this album is qualitatively absolutely unique in its now quite extensive discography. Long rolled-club music with claim stands next to some ambitious pop songs, and the club wins. For me, "Kylie Minogue" provides even the two best numbers that has ever released the lady: "Where is the feeling" and, incredibly, "Where has the love gone". The latter number is almost 8 minutes, actually a dialogue with the producers (House-heroes Pete Heller and Terry Farley) and simply divine.
It's a shame that that was the musical highlight. But it was all right to title this album with its own name: Kylie So I do not prefer. Honest.
