The new installation on my subnotebook Year September 2008, RAM 3GB of RAM (2GB minimum) with fairly even-compatible Intel GM45 Graphic worked without any problems! Then I've got the old Vista in the folder 'Windows.old' cleared to 95% (completely erase works well without special rights). But that was enough to at least additionally freizubekommen still about 30GB space on my otherwise rather small hard drive. Incl. new defragmentation lasted the whole procedure but already more than 4 hours. But now the notebook has become again really nice fast!
