Light and darkness collide ...

I was interested in Alan Wake already in release and found it quite surprising that it now appears after 2 years, even for PC. After I had now once played it I have to say it really is a good mix of 40% and 60% Horror Story. One may expect a Dead Space clone but by no means, jump off the chair in shock you will likely not here.

The story begins quite simply, Alan does with his wife Alice holidays in "Bright Falls" in order to recover from the rigors and nightmares until it disappears one night and the search begins. Initially, one understands still good to what is actually in the game, which I myself realized no longer really in the end what really is going on now. The whole game is linear, you can indeed move freely and occasionally drive cars, but ultimately always piloted by the story-way.

Graphically acts Alan Wake though it has now been 2 years on the hump, still very beautiful, but is probably because that 80% of the whole story is shrouded in darkness. But it already looks very great when it is suddenly neblich and windy and you can hardly see anything that contributes additionally also suitable for dark atmosphere. But when it gets light, you already noticed the first small caveats: The figures look a little funny to see who the times look exactly might notice what I mean. Then, of course, the great German synchronization, only get the votes, then moving his lips. At least it can even switch to english.

But the gameplay is definitely something new, only popping dark figures on from the ground, then you have the dark with the flashlight out of them "out dazzle" and only then can you zap it. At the very beginning but I had a little used to it, if you have the hang of but then get out, you can with 2-3 shots one opponent after another wegknallen. One thing on which you have to think is still valuable ammunition, all you have to look for stocks, you have even not paying attention, one stands later with pitch without since. What many others have already said here, there is simply too little mystery! The puzzles are mostly single to turn it on the other side a generator or find a way through a ruined building etc., here the developers have quietly something can build more exciting. Over time, the whole game is therefore also a bit boring, constantly draufhalten flashlight makes after a while no more buck ...
