Like a virgin ... hey!

Although "Like a Virgin" is not Madonna's best album, it's not as good as "True Blue" or "Like a prayer", but includes some evergreens. The most popular song on this CD is probably "Material Girl", it is simply one of Madonna's best songs and I find it a pity that they do not want to sing it today, because their latest songs are much worse than their old. The video for "Material Girl" is by the way also well worth seeing. Another highlight is the shy gesungende but very suggestive song "Like a Virgin". This track caused Madonna her first scandal, because in the 80s was the text line "Touched for the very first time" as very offensive. Even "Over and Over" and "The Pretender" I like very much, both in terms of the beat, as well as the lyrics. Only "Love do not live here anymore" dancing in my opinion a bit out of line. All in all a very good album, not just for Madonna fans.
