The clarity, the speed of routing, the unrivaled Live services. And all during the entire service life of 500. This matches already.
Nevertheless, I have returned dasn Navi today. But that has simply the reason that the replacement Navi, I ordered (the Garmin nüvi 3597) in a different performance class plays (voice control, mzusätzliche options, etc.). Here one would have to try to compare the TomTom Go 6000, which is not yet available but.
Update 30.06.13:
Have now brought up to date operating system version iOS side after the unsuccessful attempts with the Windows Phone and BlackBerry Q10, my old iPhone 4. Thus a Verbndungsaufnahme with the TomTom was possible. And also access to the Live services worked.
For this reason, I want to update my review. The aspect of the complicated and restricted access (only certain smart phones support) remains.
However, I find the device with the redesigned user interface and the concept of "reduced to the max") not wrong times. This good humor came to me while I took a longer ride today, in which I have the device with respect to routing and handling subjected to an endurance test.
I find the selection via "Point And Drive" actually very successful.
The lack of voice control I do not miss.
The display is fast and fluid.
Routing incl. Re-routing is absolutely timely manner.
Connecting to the iPhone to access the Live services also from hibernation problems was possible for me.
Regarding the lack of avoided routes and similar features, I'm counting on a software Udate.
Less can sometimes actually be more. So my feeling. Therefore I increase my score rating again from 2 to. 3
I will once again undergo the whole comparing with the Garmin Nuvi 3597 LMT, then it has taken with respect to the opposite direction Featuvielfalt and services from Garmin is also dependent on a smartphone with respect to Live.
Delivery via Amazon has provided the go and comparison for this week.
Stand 28.06.13:
I am (now Garmin) changed with the last Navi to TomTom because of the Live Services by Navigon.
The map display and user interface, I found compared with Navigon terrible.
Nevertheless, I had the TomTom GO LIVE 1015 Europe continued in use.
The GO 500 one may now have a beautiful new user interface.
However, the Live Services with the split of the mobile phone via Bluetooth connection was not available for me.
Neither Windows Phone yet BlackBerry compatible.
And iOS only from a specific version.
So have failed with all three phones that were available to me.
Even the (friendly) Support was helpless.
That's the question.
