Yes, I absolutely need a new mousepad simple and inexpensive, these were my thoughts before I went to look in the Amazon. But in mind I had just this Mouse Pad, what I wanted to buy essential - if this would just meet my expectations. But more on that later.
Packing
The packaging is fairly compact for a mouse pad that size. This is because it is rolled up.
It's one of those annoying plastic packages where you like cuts.
It's all in black and blue.
To The Product
The mouse pad is 400 x 320 mm in size. It is 0.3cm high. Thus, it is clearly one of the very large mouse pads. The size should be perfect for everyone really!
The surface is covered in fabric and clean.
Bottom right is a logo, which does not, however, disturbing.
The base is made entirely of rubber, so that the mouse pad really can not slip! Forget the Mouse just a couple of tiny feet have the slides with safety! And every Mouse Pad on my desk is far rumgerutscht. The non Taito!
This it is a cloth mouse pad, the surface is very pleasing to the hands. From the temperature here is always just right. For comparison - a Plastikmauspad can be chilly!
For people with dry and brittle hands, but it could cause problems. But I think this is always the case with cloth mouse. The sliding properties of the Roccat Taito is very good! It can very well work with it.
The build quality is really great. The fabric is stretched evenly.
Only the edge tends to fray. Now some of the material has come loose at the corners after long and hard use. I have the pad with security more than a year! If I ever feel like I'm going to be resolved in a non-aggressive adhesive that little problem.
Cleaning
The top is so black fabric. This attracts the dust not only, he becomes trapped in it properly. With blow away is there no longer helped.
I always take a slightly damp microfibre cloth and wipe it.
After that, it is like new. Press Important not overtighten otherwise the material layer may be damaged.
Transport
When I go to Lan Party the Roccat Taito is also here with.
For this role I with the fabric to the inside, so that the fabric surface is protected.
Best not too tight rollers, otherwise the fabric could vll kink. That happened to me once, but has everything recovers.
Also the material should not come into contact with sharp objects. But so far nothing has happened to me.
Price
The price is really hot, I used to buy mouse pads for 20-25 who held half a year, after which they were worn.
The Roccat Taito Mouse Pad I have a which cost me no more than 15, while it is huge and durable.
My Experience
As I said had the pad 3-4 are always on LAN parties this time of the year. It is never something happens.
Once I easily spilled coffee. Just let soak a lint-free cloth and then over it with a damp microfibre cloth. That should be enough.
Previously I had always put on plastic mouse pads. Once because of the flat amount and the usual good sliding property. Unfortunately, the pads have never persevered with me long. Very soon they were in the middle of where the mouse is the most moving, worn. That was the case with me part after 1-3 months. At 20-25 cost an expensive business!
Conclusion
To me, that Taito's really the best I've had in recent years at Mouse. Suitable for that I have of course the Roccat Kone + which I will also report yet.
