I can only reiterate the previous euphoric reviews. A few CDs have me so confident right away, as Iiro Rantala "Lost Heroes". Everything is just right. The compositions are as compelling as sophisticated, piano playing is refined ("Thinking of misty" !!!) without ever drifting into purely technical acrobatics and everything will be carried forward so gripping and with so much charm that even quieter, gefühlige pieces, like "Tears for Esbjörn "," One More Waltz For Michel Petrucciani "or" Intermezzo "not slide a few times into kitsch. One can not help but to take part in the hands and to be an hour long show with a smile on his face, the sound worlds of Iiros favorite musicians. Here and there one still furtively wipes a tear from her eye, while Iiro again turns full tilt around the next corner. Are a few months has been running the CD now in my player and yet still I would like once it's over like to listen to the CD again from the beginning. A very wonderful album!
