The title track "Frozen" ever heard of the weaker songs of Within Temptation and is just a boring ballad that only so hinplätschert right. Since Within Temptation have really seen better ballads written, among other things Restless, Never-Ending Story, World Of Make Believe, Bittersweet or Our Farewell - compared to these songs falls Frozen rather from their class is not reached even begin.
The whole is indeed dubbed "double A single", represents the second song of this single and also what a video was made is "The Howling". This is already one of the better songs from "The Heart Of Everything" However, I find it quite questionable to a song of the album 5 1/2 minutes to take a 3 1/2 minute single version down to cut. Already an impressive performance to cut a song just about 2 minutes - who needs something, pray for me, that's pretty ridiculous to a song to zerschnippseln so I'd rather stay the same for the album version.
Ok we get to the bonus tracks there is on the one hand the unspectacular "Sound Of Freedom". The song can be heard clearly in that there is a "B-side" because of "Sound Of Freedom" is not rightly ended up on the album: boring and soporific lapping all just so in front of him -> a very calm ballad without special highlights almost even more boring than "Frozen" ....
Well, and then there are the acoustic versions of "What Have You Done" and "The Cross" where apparently again the ghosts. Some think that Sharon proves here how well she can sing, I can only say this: just when acoustic songs in my opinion shows to the true vocal ability of a singer (or singer), and Sharon has already in the cruel "Ice Queen" Acoustic Version demonstrated how they can deface such versions. The versions of "What Have You Done" and "The Cross" are the second to none. Sorry but your voice can just simply do not carry songs in an acoustic context - either sounds they still higher than anything else already is partly due to the pain threshold or Sharon tries unexpectedly deep singing what so ever does not fit her and just diagonally sounds -> when I hear you sing so deep I have to almost laugh already, it's just ridiculous what Sharon held here (at least for me). Sharon is on board certainly not a bad singer but her voice just demands punchier songs, orchestrated ever more economical is the thinner her voice seems to me (a similar phenomenon that my opinion on Liv Kristine applies).
Sorry, the idea to donate the revenue I welcome really but for a single with a so miserable content I can not really a recommendation for the two clips it contains to "The Howling" and "Frozen" to change it slightly. It is certainly positive that child abuse in "Frozen" to address this clip, however, is cut pretty hectic in my opinion, it constantly alternate story elements with pictures of the band playing from what simply disrupts the flow of the video. And by "Howling" clip I also do not really much, but that has probably everyone decide for themselves. I for one can not discover a positive addition to the background that the proceeds will be donated the contents of this single ......
