And once again a so-called "Best of" by Yes, one of the greatest bands that has spawned the Progressive Rock. Just ten pieces of eight of their studio albums can be found here, including two very early songs, some real classics, but also nerve end ("Sound Chaser") and a completely unnecessary Nümmerlein from their 80s era ("Love Will Find A Way "). That none of the four each twenty minute title of her Meistwerwerks Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973) was taken into account, is understandable due to the limited capacity of a compact disc; why but was entirely dispensed with the consistently great material success of the album going for the one from 1977, each logical explanation escapes.
What then anyway everything is? Do not ask me! Trying to get at the impressive body of work of a band like Yes with a single CD, already is a hopeless task; then also to title this strange compilation THE BEST OF YES, but bordering on insolence.
This compilation is just carelessly and helpless and therefore not recommended for novices yet for Yes Yes pendant.
