Low odor, high sliding resistance

Have the pad now for two days in use. The odor is minimal (it is with me no case as if the whole room smell afterwards). Only when one smells directly on pad notice the ripe odor. What is, however, already noticeable that the hand edge smells after prolonged use by the pad. To this end, I will give in a few days / weeks an update.

What has struck me really negative would be that the sliding resistance is very high. I can not say whether it is because of this pad or is this general nature textile sliding surfaces. I had been a very thin pad with roughened plastic surface in use. I'll the day time "mouse skates" attach to the underside of my mouse and then enter an update for lubricity or the Gleitwidestand.

The mouse pad is dimensioned for me enough to play (which I have never understood anyway the trend towards giant mouse pads).

Currently there is a point deduction for the high sliding resistance.

Update odors:

Now, after a month, I can say that the odor is completely gone (and very soon after unpacking).

Update gliding properties:

The mouse skates have not changed the sliding resistance. I have also ordered my Sharkoon 1337 Mouse and have found that there the sliding resistance is much smaller! However, there is the noise when moving the mouse subjectively higher.
