The machine is working properly, but is not very quiet. Operating instruction is very poor, eg closed overlock is not described at all. I have turned to Singer Service Center to clarify where I can find the closed overlock. After four requests and four absolutely lists do not answer, I give up. Add to my inquiry about the closed Ovelockstiches I get such responses as: "look, please read page 43 in Owner's Manual", even though the manual is only 26 pages long, or "The sewing machine sews 2263 no overlock and there to this model in 2263 also Overlock no ", neither of which is true etc. So one can not help or advice from so-called" experts expect the Singer Service Center ". Love this owner sewing machine (2263): this machine has a shot Overlock (please see page 12 in the user manual, 7 stitch from the left for stretch fabrics). Requests to service centers have cost me time, let see the answer to the Service Center employees that people sitting there who have no idea of Singer products, which is very disappointing.
