Unfortunately, the Philips SCM 4480 does not entirely without problems with Apple iPod Touch 2G and the same is true for the iPhone. First, there is no adapter for iPods, so you had to buy an extra USB cable DockConnector, and secondly: the iPod has an automatic overload protection and the Philips SCM 4480 also. Once the battery is charged and the iPod is in sleep mode, flickers of Philips SCM 4480 on and off loads, no loads, loads, etc. In addition, once the iPod is loaded, and one looks for example a film, then the Philips SCM 4480 does not switch on again, and so the iPod can not directly from the charger to power, but draws from the battery charger plugged in spite!
Too bad, because the Philips SCM 4480 is otherwise not so bad.
