Recitals and Concertos 1961-1965 / Vol.1 (Box 8 CD) (CD)

Customer Review

I say and I repeat: we find in this anthology the only existing record of the dreaded concerto in F major GWV Cv: XIII: 127 Johann Gottlieb Graun in 1740 who occupied the post of concertmaster (concert master) to the Royal Chapel Frederick the Great King Flutiste (Music At The Court Of Frederick the Great - Book-drive - 2 CD). Admittedly, this is a Boehm flute - a common little elsewhere model mentioned by Quantz himself for his version of the 18th century: the "third flute" - but when we had the talent and - dare provocative word - the intelligence of a Rampal, you could get away with anything.
