Hot Summer (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Successful because of use of the song during a quota Renner a TV station? Partially determined. Mainstream? Of course, what else? Of course, you're trying to create unique sound, but that's not always so simple. Particularly innovative is therefore Monroses new single "Hot Summer" not. But she confirmed the trend: The R'n'B is today difficult hip. After all, who currently dominates well the front ranks? Nelly Furtado and Rihanna, two R & B artist. "Hot Summer" is a cross between the sound of two chartbreakers: The Beat I identify with that of number 1 hit "Umbrella" by Rihanna and the electro sound, especially the tempo of the track with "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado ( latter finding is by no means only mine, see earlier reviews). My opinion: So what? It's not so bad if recur sound samples, as long as it works well together, whether it is intentional or not. Much worse is when reacting complete melodies one on one, occupied untalented singer and the result then decouples as single (see "Magic Melody" by BeFour). And with "Hot Summer" this is definitely not the case. Vocally there is really nothing to complain about. The song is a great R'n'B / hip-hop tracks, the mainstream-oriented appeals and catchy.
