Red Steel (Video Game)

Customer Review

At that time the Wii Launch the game from many reviewers was torn, but when I finally saw it on sale, I have it but then finally got myself and was pleasantly surprised - apart from the somewhat stubborn control a really solid and more fun shooter on the Wii (-U with Wiimote and Nunchuk)!

The graph looks natural today without HD mushy, but otherwise it is, especially for such an old game - still acceptable. I especially like the effects, such as sun rays and explosions. The setting is strongly influenced Japanese, unfortunately, there are in the game a lot of gray indoor level, the outer level, however, are beautiful to look at. Cool is that parts of the levels are often destroyed. The music is very nice, but the (German) dubbing disappoint - in addition to the comic Japanese pronunciation, it seems a lot to give to a few - would not be surprised if only man would have talked all figures because all people sound the same. The game time is typical for Shooter 10 hours.

The biggest problem of the game is the control - the Wii controller was back then a revolution, and the control concept is really good - it would work reliably for. Especially during the (fun) swordplay, where many movements are not recognized - or even during normal shooting, when the cursor moves or hooked now and then, they can give rise to frustration, but with a little practice you can make up for the weaknesses.

In summary, for the reasonable price a Wii shooter that is fun.
