As I stand on open-world games and previews sounded promising, I have accessed. So I went quite impartially serve up Skyrim, although RPGs and fantasy so yes rumschleppen their clichés with him. ;)
I'm the type players for the graphics, animations and sequences are secondary as long as the game is good in itself, and to some extent has draft and a friendly atmosphere. And it does in general!
A flu I had enough time by now to play about 25 hours. Here's my impression, which is gradually decreased, so I had to pull 2 STAR:
-
Pro: beautiful and varied landscapes, many creatures (eg giant impressive and mammoth - simply is just 5 min in addition to and looks excited about), the kite battles are exciting and so I think most of it was already mentioned here. One does not have to repeat everything here, yes.
Anyway captivated me the game immediately!
-
What displeases me gradually more and more, there are many little things (1 star deduction). Cons:
-> Far too many ingredients and food. Here indeed come at least 50 different things together. I find exaggerated, you have to deal with it for far too long, to handle everything.
-> Potions: Here accumulates after some time a long and confusing list. That would also bundled: Why do I have such as dozens of different positions for healing? One regenerate 25 pts, 28 pts another. This is really unnecessary and ne annoying fumble. Poisons and potions could loosely cataloged in each 6-8 positions, and just increase the amount, if again a trunk is added.
-> Companion: Lydia is totally helpful, but I'm slowly in the ass!
1) Every time I speak to them (wait & replace), I have the menu press twice (because already used?), And every time she always says the same sentence before the menu opens. Upsets me beastly when an important menu item is always perform only delayed and is in addition also still backed by always the same spell.
2.) Waiting function is set in the fight overridden. When I park Lydia somewhere around the corner, I do it consciously. Why then meddles anyway?
3.) Your nearby flatters me so) but it is also an obstacle: The fact that they depend directly on my heels, and I sometimes activate a spell to my character, I take it thus unintentionally to - just because they me always comes too close. And then she is hostile and fighting back ... Bad programmed!
-> The horse: ascent and descent takes so long that everyone actually harmless wolf is a danger - especially since you can not even use weapons / magic from horseback with one hand. A pity, the benefits from the ride are thus put back.
-> Character Education 1: Somehow your character has zero personality and they do not develop well. I can not describe exactly why, but somehow the bleak and not entertaining.
-> Charakterbidlung 2: All major NPC are not particularly diverse. Most you can already due to the optics and to 2-3 spoken sentences your properties and your share of the Story predict.
-> Unimportant NPC that will liven up the game, a talk continuously with their same old 2 sets. If that would do half as often, the game would still lively enough, but half as annoying.
-> What there are arches? - I chose an elf, because I like ranged weapons and Hack n 'Slay find boring. But now I do not know what I have a bow ... So far almost all of the quests were (except for the trips there and dragon fights) in premises / Caves. You can sneak up and fire a first shot, but then must quickly switch to magic + Handed. I hope this will be different, after all, I have my talent in "arches" leveled up.
-> I have dozens of opportunities to engage in a fight, and make changes of armor, spells, weapons, poisons. Tactically really wonderful! But you have to repeatedly interrupt the fight and go through the annoying long lists - until I have now been brought to laziness: I need really nothing to change that fights can also be easy without a shield and win with 2 standard weapons on Normal difficulty. Somehow a pity that the possibilities of the game there will not need to be exhausted - but otherwise it would be exhausting, if one takes in this list menu.
-> I therefore somehow lacking, to put together a complete weapons and armor sets that you switch on the Favourite list. That would be totally practical for the different environments and enemies!
-> Explanations in the game are missing. As I said I'm Fantasy and RPG rookie. Until I had the system level through a look, or was befriended with the whole alchemy and magic, it took. For "new customers" not very beginner-friendly.
-> The game takes possibly zuuu long and the card is too big: I do not know how to cope with the game even when I'm healthy again and possibly 2 times a week for 2 hour's time find it. It brings with it plenty of time alone on this, to arrange his inventory and well put together ... If I will need some more time to look up again, which is where you will find, certainly leaves me the pleasure.
-> I play in the 3rd person perspective. With shooters and hand perspective I can start nix. Alright, so that you can change! But: When I plug my guns in perspective, zooms closer to the back of the hero, allowing more visibility is obstructed. I do not know what this is ...
-> Through some of these, but other circumstances have to constantly caching to (not playing by bad!) Not certain things by bad programming to lose.
Two technical things yet:
-> A point that many game menus goes against the grain: Am I reached the lowest point of a list, is not continuous and started again at point 1, but I have to again click up - frustration Pur at the ingredients or potions! I do not understand why not every programmer / entrepreneur checks his product on comfort and quick functionality and optimized.
-> Stuttering: After a long playing time hooked the game more and more. As I now read, this is due to many secured savegames. Have I always saved when a dragon has appeared at the any time to play, if I feel like it. I can probably forget and delete ...
-
Because of these shortcomings, the simply reduce the long-term game fun, I give only 4 stars for the game.
-
BUT I evaluate also the overall product. Why I therefore have to deduct even 1 STAR: There is no multiplayer.
I can understand that one can not possibly provide the complete game world or all the game options for an online mode - but some areas for certain online modes are loosely feasible.
To say that the single-player mode had been suffering from an online mode, is too flat! The fact that the MP mode can not have the functionality as the SP mode of this game, each is clear and requires no. Things like: find ingredients, food gathering and preparation, use the Arcane Enchanter or the alchemy lab, NPC address, etc. can be like to let out online - otherwise it would almost for MMORPG what nobody expects. But a few modes to limited areas of the map can be implemented readily.
I know many people do not need the MP mode, but others turn to buy PS3 title only because of online gaming. I any case, I believe that nowadays this includes an MP mode for almost every game. I hope there is still a DLC coming months ...
I'm really hurt to have to give this game romped only 3 stars, but there are many things in need of improvement and an MP mode also missing.
If these discrepancies are resolved with a patch, and a DLC for online gaming is, I like to give 5 stars.
If you fans of fantasy / RPGs come off this review too bad, attention please: this compares Skyrim with all previous games of this genre, I see it as a freshman with nothing - and as a non-fan I judge some things probably somewhat different.
-
Oh yes and one more thing ... The game is a textile card that is totally unsuitable. An absolute waste, the ignorant one buys it. Even game instructions you can confidently save but now (as in Fifa 12) - is all explained in-game. So you would do the environment a favor too!
