The Ragpicker's Dream (Ltd. Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Eagerly I put the new MK CD into the player. Finally something new from him, or perhaps rather: "What, after only two years ????" The Single Why Aye Man like immediately and already makes you want more. What the single promise can only keep the whole album more. A quiet, varied plate in which mainly the acoustic sounds dominate. Much Country and here and there a little blues. Mark Knopfler takes itself a little with solos back and leaves sometimes bandmate the foreground. (Especially the pianist Jim Cox) Overall for me the best solo album, where you can say that the style of songs like "RĂ¼diger" of "Darling Pretty" is representative of this plate. This CD is so much fun, and you can hear them continuously (try it yourself just out .....)
