Melancholy on six strings

Melancholy on six strings

A Northern Soul (Audio CD)

Customer Review

What Richard Ashcroft and his boys celebrating here to 64 minutes can be a drunk back
and some songs sound even after a long time in my head.

This disc is the link between the experimental Miissing '93 album "A Storm In Heaven"
and the highly melodic tinged 97er work "Urban Hymns" and probably their best album.

It is characterized by Ashcroft's pervasive melancholy song, which of
is accompanied endless, psychedelic guitar runs. Especially the overlong songs like
"So It Goes" or "Drive You Home" let the listener through headphones sink into a trance.

Highly recommended ... Alternative Guitar at its best !!!
