Linkin Park are in a class of its own. Connect nu-metal with rap and create a genre, though not new, but this was never realized in my opinion so professional (remember Limp Bizkit and Co, the rap does not really!). Her second album 'Meteora' returns as 'Hybrid Theory' quality at its best - only on the terms of variety you can argue sure. I had people who are tired. Foreword - to become unnecessary, rated is just a very short intro piece, including Mr Hahn and Mike sound gimmicks. Somewhere I Belong - Perfect song, atmospheric, harmonious (rap parts) and appropriate rock. 5/5 Lying From You - One of the loudest songs that LP has ever manufactured. Everything fits together. 5/5 Hit the floor - A rap and Shout Song. Again, we hear again how great Mike and Chester harmonize, as in all the other songs. For me it is enough but only for ne 3/5, because the song is not as much variety as provided by the other. Easier To Run - Very soulful rock ballad along with a great text, I like very much. 4/5 Faint - Rasant, loud and distinctive. 5/5 Figure.09 - solid piece with a catchy melody. 4/5 Breaking The Habit - For me, the best song of the album. It is something totally different to the first, only value here was placed on vocals on the other hand, is perfect. Everything fits together and is consistent. 5/5 From The Inside - again a great rocking song with a catchy melody. 5/5 Nobody's Listening - Here Mike has already shown his other side, which he has now begun Fort Minor. Well accompanied with Asian Flute sounds for me but not catchy. 3/5 Session - instrumental piece with drum insert and electronic sounds. Sounds very stylish and harmonious. 4/5 Numb - For me, the best rock ballad that LP had ever brought. Perfect piece. 5/5 Conclusion: The guys prove that they can. It was looking forward to the third album, is what currently gewerkelt (again with Mike Shinoda on board!).
