The New Balance MT00 is the first minimum shoe I've bought and it will certainly not be the last. My first running shoe was the Brooks Glycerin 6, which was recommended in a known running specialty store. So I'm really warm but never became with him, besides, I had often a strange feeling of pressure in the knee. Recently I have then, after I had read me comprehensively in the subject Natural Running, a Nike Free 3.0 risen. However, this was easier said than done. I the same running specialty store where I had bought the Brooks Glycerin, was recommended to me extremely by Nike and other minimal shoes (only the Asics Gel Excel 33, however, is anything but a minimal shoe and 10mm explosion has come loud saleswoman emergency in question ), perhaps because that sellers hardly knew about this issue and not even know what a blast. There were even I predicted fatigue fractures. To my stature: 1,75m and 65kg. Of course me this advice has brought into doubt, especially as sellers of other businesses blew the same horn (but without me in detail by running experience, running style, training distance, etc. to ask). Nevertheless, I was brave (or slightly inning in the eyes of the seller enough), have gained me the Free and slowly groped me extremely on longer runs. Lo and behold, my knee problems did not recur. What nevertheless bothered me on Free, was the existing blast. So I came to the New Balance Minimus. This has not only less blowing up, that no, but less attenuation. Initially this was used to and I noticed after running all the tendons and muscles that are required when running. Meanwhile my musculoskeletal system and my running technique is changed and it is a pleasure to run with the shoe. Especially in the sprints shoe is really the Hammmer. I think I've never run so fast in my life (and with more than thirty). The breathability of the shoe is better than that of Frees or glycerol. For cold weather, however, it is probably less suitable. In heavy rain we also have to expect that you get your feet wet. The sole has cutouts which pass water (when you step in a puddle) and also the outer material is not waterproof. For those who walk without socks (which I have not tried it yet) want to run and real trails, but this may be an advantage, since penetrated water can run off and walk through the good breathability opportunity to get dry again. Particularly far the boot is not the way (although I'm also quite breitfüßig admittedly). It sits fairly close to the foot. But you get used to it. One positive effect of the shoe is that it seems to improve posture. Had I but particularly with the glycerin often problems really walk upright, I have these difficulties no longer. In my opinion, you can, if you listen to your body, make the shoe less wrong than with a highly attenuated (if you do not have severe obesity and no extreme malposition of the foot and is ready to migrate slowly and carefully). I would buy the shoe without question at any time and'll probably set the MR00 for road shortly.
