This game is a marvel. For me it is the best game on the DS at this time with Mario Kart. The graphics are gorgeous, a scenario that holds up, an incredible soundtrack of superb quality, excellent playability, especially with special courses where the stylus is used. To my taste, it is not the best Sonic (Sonic & Knuckles, the invincible). However, it is much more fun to play than the latter, widely beating Sonic Advance 1,2,3 linear. The end is sublime (with SuperSonic and SuperBlaze) and the multiplayer is really fun. A must-have game for anyone having a DS.
