Here Howard had support from Maya Beiser, who served the cello and thus again lying exceptional sound, as last Hillary Hahn in "The Village".
In "Main Title" we get the breathtaking main theme for the score presented. A simple, but powerful, yet eerie melody, most recently in "Signs". Simply amazing how hard work this issue. Plus an action-fitting subject in the background.
This piece of Howard skilfully plays and varied it again, for example in "Central Park", where there end up being incredibly loud when the dramatic barrage begins. Overall, Howard used his music not as melancholic as in its predecessors, but leaves the orchestra still playing often crazy. A good example is the brutal "Shotgun" or "My Firearm Is My Friend".
Even the odd moment of shock is present again and suddenly you will be torn out of the chair!
A dramatic piece is "Princeton", here the main theme is played very frightening and then changes into a tragic version, accompanied by the cello.
Also great is the final, "Be With You", in which the music continues to increases. Howards latter works for Shayamalan were also expanded to highlight, such as "Signs" and "Lady in the Water". It's not quite as powerful, the music is used more subtly and intensively, especially the main theme is very tragic used while the strings coming increasingly to the fore. Here is predetermined goosebumps!
And with the great "End Title Suite" (with an ingenious early!) We get for eight minutes the most beautiful moments of the score in a track, my personal favorite, because if you do not even have much time, you can hear this piece, and can still admire all the magic of this score!
Who is a fan of Howard or wonderful film music a la "The Sixth Sense," "Signs" and "The Village", which can be accessed safely. An absolutely stunning score, full of feeling, mysticism, melancholy and a good dose of horror, so as we love it!
