I have received the disk WD10EZEX as testers, this board is advertised as an energy-saving drive. What I can confirm. I am so convinced of the barely audible volume. Only when you start taking the short drive true. The speed is more than passable. I use the disk (s) for Synology DiskStation (backups of all photos, to safety in the raid). From the performance of the test I was so convinced that I have just ordered a second.

Primarily, I would recommend the drive for backups as system disk, there are certainly better, for example, a solid state disk. The strengthening of WD10EZEX are volume and energy consumption. A pity I think that nowadays not even enclosed screws in the hard drives. Just when you really ordered as an upgrade for large NAS server. And no screws since has.

Still 5 stars, instructions and description can be the manufacturer as PDF, bolts, there are not yet digitally.
