Confessions [17 Tracks] (Audio CD)

Customer Review

New album, new sound ?? Not really ... at Usher has done musically not much. So much in front. The opening track "Yeah" has it all, and is the best track of this album. One thing you have let Usher simple: He's a vocal king without equal! Take, for example, "Caught up", a cool up-tempo number that he gilded with Adlips and vocals. Unconditional out tip.
The second single "Burn" is a typical grand Usher ballad that, once in the ear, no longer want to get out. Hit guarantee!
Ever are many great ballads on it ... which unfortunately somehow mostly are too smooth for me. Soul-Pop at its best here and there, but somehow it is then repeated from track 13 and being too one has the feeling "I nevertheless just heard!".
But we continue with the highlights:
"Truth Hurts" there is no other Zweifelein Burner the plate. Cool chill mid-tempo number. The Beat suppressed nice ... Also, there are there again the vocals absolutely Usher's class make and give the song that extra ... respect!
Just a pity that you have with "The Simple Things" right after practically only ne other variant of the same song at the start.
Next Hörtipp: "Bad Girl"! Cool electric guitar riff, simple Club Beat topsy ... of course again Usher's hammergeiles vote! Very nicely done. K
"Do it to me" is also very nice ... reminiscent of old Prince Numbers.
"Take your hand" is next to "Yeah," the second best number of this disc. I love it ... Usher ... so sure and perfect as long heard in falsetto by no one ... a real pleasure to listen to him as he and his voice plays on this filthy sampled Club beat! I tell ma YEAH!
... More than good album!
