New sound suits him perfectly

I'm a fan of the old Cat Stevens albums, but also of "An Other Cup" and "Road Singer", which appeared under the name Yusuf. Nevertheless, I am always pleased when an artist tried something new, not just repeated, but remain creative. Fans who want to hear the old sounds anew, may well take up old plates yes exactly. Here Yusuf goes in a new direction - with a bluesy sound, strong and full of energy. Some reviewers speak of his voice had become weak. The opposite is true. Others say his gentle voice did not fit to the Blues. Is a matter of taste, but in my opinion can withstand even the Blues different timbres. I find it in any case fascinating to see how Yusuf enjoy this change of direction seems to have - sometimes I had to smile when listening properly because it was so unexpected. And to the criticism, there were only 10 songs and a rather short album I say: Dear 10 songs that the artist really wants to publish than 14 pieces, in which he is partly uncertain.
