I had from the beginning the feeling that "New World March" simply is not just a title, but a kind of "Synopsis". After the overture "Control" is displayed with "Crossfire" equal to the line of approach of the album, namely clearly towards "new territory". In between takes, "Lost" the pace in a pleasant way something out, but at "Soul Reader" you quickly realize that the march is still far from over, this announces itself only with "membrane". These certain mood that has taken hold after listening to this album is rounded off perfectly with the Outro "Echo".
As always fascinating the way how Haujobb manage detailed sound research, varieties of electronic music to combine musical impressions of the respective time and abstract arrangements form a whole without rüberzukommen overweight or even bombastic, but just elegant. In some passages, especially in "Soul Reader" can not deny a certain influence of Depeche Mode. But it was at Haujobb always like that has been deposited on their respective albums of the musical Zeitgeist to some extent. Of course, is a matter of taste, but at Haujobb I like that it never comes across as too dominant or plagiarized.
My conclusion: a crazy album that my bisherigem Evergreen "Solutions for a Small Planet" has been duly competition! From me all Jobbies out there anyway a clear buy command, all other I recommend the preview function and Wikipedia ;-)
