Darkchild (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Imagine: The masterminds of the Sisters Of Mercy & Megadeth would be at the peak of their commercial success, the early 90's, teamed up and created an album ... It would have sounded very likely SO! Mustaine-inspired riffs paired with subtle keyboards & really beautiful melodies, sung with a whole lot of voice! - Somehow "Darkchild" as schnitzel prepared with fries and salad on 4-star chef-level: We know the ingredients, you'd expect the familiar on the plate ... - and yet somehow it tastes better, more interesting, more valuable than in a any old fast food! Where others with elves - are trying to score points and / or opera singing and choirs, Katanga rock to perk up a straight from, have fun and a disc at the start, which really is good throughout for every situation! - The create a few!
Mir as the actual prog listener missing only a few clever guitar solos to 100% strength happiness. - But that really is not the lack of Katanga skill, but is intent, because they can play what I know from common "guitaristic sandbox days" in the beautiful Greifswald! - Absolute thumbs-up disc!
