Unholy Ground
A worthy opener for the new album and rightly album title. Good Beat, which tempts one right from the start to clap and sing along if you know because then the text. In this song it comes to sin or the sin Trips the band, as Samu in a recent interview revealed how she now exactly as sinful or have sinned in the past, I would rather not know xD
Lifesaver
The first time I heard the song, I thought the only way: Oookaay interesting, but at the latest after songs like Bye Bye (hip hop style), 6: 0 (with Orchestra) or I Dont Dance could suspect experimenting the guys on their new baby plentiful and new when hitting unusual sounds for them. Lifesaver is a tribute to someone who has become for the guys personally lifesaver. Had he not been, then the guys stood probably not be where they are now. Probably not even exist the band. But all pure speculation fortunately. He has never given up to believe in the band and their qualities (Dont you ever tire, facing all my fires, you fighting for me right Until The End). Oh my friend, you're holding out your hand reminds me of musicality at Fallen Soldier of The Pusher (The Swedes were once pros Act of Finns the best ever, but it was only mentioned in passing) and I mean, Samu would have said, that the pusher guys have probably mitgefeilt to this song. I find the song very well done (because yes, I like The Pusher), because the melody is simple ear. He is maybe not as successful as Hollywood Hills, but the potential is there.
Little Bit Love
My absolute favorite song on the album! Little Bit Love has everything that needs to have a song. Almost pleadingly crying out Samu that all he needs is a little bit of love is. And hey, you believe him (so I at least xD) In any tough guy just puts a tender soul, which would be hereby established. Great rhythm (a great instrumental part after the second chorus), great text I'm thrilled! No, I cant escapin, to tell time with Samus words Man this song just can not escape A little tip: Especially not if you (a bit) turns the system louder.
I Can Break Your Heart
Actually, one still has the beats of the previous song in the ear because the Finns already push the next hammer afterwards: An almost oriental intro, which eventually discharges into rocking grooves and I have to confess, here let the men of Bon Jovi a bit greet. But that's the song itself not a bad thing on the contrary, and we know that the guys or rather Samu depart on the music of Bon Jovi. The beat increases anyway and the line eventually suggest what it will result in I Can Break Your Heart namely an excellent rock song, in which you simply do not like resting. I love it! Samu sings of a lady who keeps apparently for something better (You think you are too good for anyone) and he had absolutely no problems with it, to bring them back to the floor of the facts (I might bring you down, before you rise up too high.). Properly so, Samu) - Again, one must turn on the system quiet little louder xD
Hurtsville
After the songs rock category now there something quiet on the ears, the drum parts are very catchy chorus and after the rhythm is catchy. Hurtsville already comes nevertheless therefore almost as a ballad and reminds me a little while to Welcome To My Life (the way Samu sings) and Monk Bay (in chorus). Great song that makes you think and causes the at least for me Hühne skin (O-Ton Samu at TVOG xD)!
Letters In The Sand
The intro could be the jingle for a new Saturday evening show, honestly. After energetic HEY! at the beginning of the song and the instrumental part we imagine, it goes on vigorously, but no, it is almost romantic when Samu singing Time to see this for what it is unfortunately everything in life is somehow ephemeral and moments no longer come back. So time to show our colors and come to terms with the situation (as when the at times would be so easy, and romantic this is not already the same (;)
The verses are hammer-like, quiet, yet meaningful and Chorus will contribute to a. After repeated listening no longer goes (I) Letters In The Sand from the ear
Girl Like You
This song is meant to express that not even a good character is in every human being who looks good. (Youre a pretty face with a dirty mind) Who wants to somebody as a partner (in) / friend (in) have, which is a foreign / is and will never change (Its in your DNA, you were built this way, and I know you never change) Samu anyway dont need a girl like you;) It's an absolutely amazing song, only with piano / piano accompaniment and thus very melodic and that makes him very special. What initially starts very shallow, increases at least after the second chorus immeasurably. Has similarities with one, albeit small choir. Class! Best line (for me): I dont need a one night, right need a girl who stays by my side til the end of the world Hach yes, I melt!
If I Fall
Who catches me when I fall ?! Who is there for me when I fail ?! I have someone in whom I can count or I end up alone? Beautiful theme for a song, I find, however, that it was not quite as well implemented. If I Fall sounds much too grim and is the (only) song on the album, the not really like it, but maybe that is yet to come, who knows.
Aim For The Kill
Well, who is the loser when a relationship breaks up (Whos gonna be the sad one if you go) ?! The one who goes or who is left? That is the question. Aim For The Kill anyway, is a song that you do not sit back quietly, stand still, whatever may. To process a separation Best also loudly untwist great song with a great, catchy beat and the best medicine;)
Dont Cry (Do not Think About It)
Do not weep, not to let think about it all behind and look forward and not back (I give you the reason to live in the moment) I think is exactly what Samu tell us here and as with Sweet Symphony he gives us that we with our pain are not alone (I try to help you leave behind your tears, youre not alone in loneliness, in right here with you). To listen to this song if you put just a crisis, can help immensely. It's quite possible that you will no longer sees everything as black. Just beautiful! (:
Afraid Of The Midnight
This song is melodic seen the proof that there is an increase for all. In keeping with the completion of this great album shows us Afraid Of The Midnight that a song can start quietly and gently, progressively increases to finally unload completely towards the end of the song (similar Angels On A Rampage). On the whole, a great ending.
My favorites are, and by a wide margin:
Little Bit Love, Aim For The Kill, Girl Like You, Hurtsville, I Can Break Your Heart and Dont Cry, but everyone must decide for themselves, I would have told only times xD
And that would be really said all the new baby, which I am, however, wonder where the lyrics have remained in the booklet ?! (Do not know if that exist during normal album). As beautiful as the images are also so very, this involves also unforgettable moments Lyrics are simply in a booklet! SO! Nevertheless, absolutely first class ...;)
