Nothing spectacular, but still very interesting!

All the pieces on this album are very interesting from start to finish this album also represents a strong Chinese flavor very well. Real instruments (such as violin, percussion, piano, and what kind of Chinese) come here to express. Times bombastic, sometimes calm, sometimes inspiring, sometimes adventurous (like "Himalaya") comes across this. Simply drinking Chinese food to take home, green tea with lemon and place this, perhaps even on a stormy, rainy day - recommended.
By the way did the composer VANGELIS with this work in the same year - on May 27, 1979 - a concert in Brussels, with symphony orchestra, choir and all the trimmings, conducted by BBC Orchestra Conductor JOHN POOL, which also Radio aired. Also appeared as the second single, quiet part of the track "Chung Kuo" as "The Long March" with a children's choir as an accompaniment. But nothing can be heard here on this album.
